  1. I had not heard of ComicLife, ThinkLink, or Diigo. I will have to check them out. I love finding new tools to use in my classroom, thanks:)

  2. Diigo is amazing - I bookmark sites (and can highlight or comment on them for my kids to see) and create lists of sites I want kids to visit. Here is a list I created when I wanted my kids to prepare for the election this past November (https://www.diigo.com/list/meganrice/voting-2012).

ComicLife is an application on our computers that allows kids to make cartoon strips (http://webapps.yarmouth.k12.me.us/~mrice/historyinyourlifetime1213/sydneygraceelizahistory/comic.html).

Thinglink is a website that allows you to make images interactive - check out this one I created to review the John Scopes trial (https://www.thinglink.com/scene/360084845902168064#tlsite).

  3. I used to advocate for diigo, but pinterest is way better. Thinklink is a really fun tool, students have fun tagging photos to put into prezi. Free tech for teachers is one of the best blogs to get technology ideas. One other tool for monitoring could be ITalc. It hasn't been updated in a bit but it is a fantastic tool.
